New Club Alert: THE ACT Debuts This Week!

This weekend marks the birth of yet another exciting hotspot on the Las Vegas Strip.  It's THE ACT, an exciting new venture from Simon Hammerstein (who created The Box in New York City and London).  Found in a 15, 000 square-foot space in The Shoppes at The Palazzo, The Act is unlike anything else on The Strip.  Below you will find a more detailed description of this exciting new club.  I can't wait to see what kind of special events The Act scares up each and every week.

Beware: The Act is not like other nightclubs on the Las Vegas Strip.  This is not the kind of place you casually wander in to.  This is more than just people on a dance floor, this is something more dangerous.  The Act is an explosion of energy, theatrical flourishes and action, action, action.  There's so much going on that everybody, no matter who they are, will get in on the act.
Taking over a 15, 000 square-foot space in The Shoppes at The Palazzo, The Act promises to be the Strip's most over-the-top nightclub yet.  It's located above the waterfall atrium and incorporates aesthetic designs inspired by a number of disparate time periods and locations.  You'll see inspiration pulled from an Italian opera house, European cathedrals, New York City’s Grand Central Station Post Office, 1920s speakeasy and more.  And yet, despite this linear paradox, it all comes together in an amazing way at The Act.
Inside you'll find a Burlesque wonderland.  But don't get too comfortable, because there are surprises around every corner.  You'll discover candlelit passageways, a labyrinth of rooms and secrets galore.  There's a Vaudevillian display of acrobatics, contortionists and other bizarre acts on various stages.  It's creepy, dark and just a little disorienting.  But it's also one of the best experiences you'll have in Las Vegas.
